We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Project/Program Manager to join our Public Policy team. This role is responsible for coordinating and completing events with stakeholders who support external advocacy and business objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects and requirements of their projects, including structuring foundational components, adhering to and creating processes, and working in a highly collaborative setting to execute high-visibility engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
o Support external advocacy and business objectives by planning and hosting events that showcase company priorities and cultivate goodwill among government and community stakeholders.
o Oversee all aspects of project requirements, including structuring activities, adhering to processes, and executing high-visibility engagements.
o Perform a variety of tasks with strong logistical and creative acumen, while leading and directing the work of others.
o Planning hosting events
o Good understanding of offerings in Seattle, could expand to Canada support, eventually getting to all of US West
o Working to elevate partnerships and offerings with logistics planning, engagement, events
o Fielding ad-hoc requests
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in strategizing, planning, and executing high-visibility events and/or tradeshows, developing strategic content, managing budgets contracts, and overseeing logistical requirements.
• Experience in stakeholder management and fostering relationships at varied levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated work experience with companies, consultancies, trade associations, governmental agencies, or equivalent organization.
• Understanding of the policymaking process, government relations, external advocacy, and communications tactics.
• Detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Ability to work in a creative, outside-the-box manner and handle ambiguity.
• Understanding of offerings in Seattle, with potential to expand support to US West and Canada.
